Belgrade March Debut Workshop

Martovski Festival is launching a new workshop for the development of feature, documentary, animated and experimental film projects by auteur and producers with no feature film produced so far. By timely consideration of film expression from the aspect of directing, production and placement, an international team of experts will aim to develop the potential of six to eight selected film projects and provide support for the professional affirmation of first- time filmmakers.
The director-producer teams, the two best projects chosen by the tutors, will win a grant for professional development and project development.

Application Requirements

Applications are open to all auteurs from Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Northern Macedonia and Albania, who have not made a feature film so far and who submit the
following project documentation in English for the competition: cover page with the title and contact details of the project leader, logline, synopsis, script, or treatment (in the case of a documentary), director’s statement, producer’s statement, bios of the screenwriter and director, the production company profile, preliminary time schedule, budget and financing plan, mood pictures/mood board/teaser and link to previous works.

The working language of the workshop is English. Registration is free.

The participants bear the costs of food and transportation. Participants who want to apply for the mentioned scholarship need to indicate this in the application.
